Hi, I was looking over your post after a friend sent it to me and the finale paragraph makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.

" By submitting your audition material you waive any and all claims relating to use of similar or identical items by the producers or the program and its broadcasters"

The problem I see here is, what is to stop you from taking original material from other performers and just repackaging it and saying it was "similar" to yours? I feel like a waive like this puts the performer in danger of having their material stolen, what do you do to protect the performer?

Great question.  Hadn't even thought about it.
