Holding auditions for anew hour-long sketch showcase @ 6:45PM Saturday, March 13th at TheDowntown Comedy Club!
We’re putting together 2 new teams:
1- Experienced Team for shorts, weekly showcases, one-man shows andstudio submissions
2- Part Time Team for traveling shows and possibly a weeklyshowcase).
If interested in “Part Time Team” please:
- Title yourreply email “Part Time Submission”
- Tell usabout some comedians you find hilarious and why
- 3-4 pitchideas (no paragraph long descriptions/keep them short) so we can get a feel forwhat you’re about.
If interested in “Experienced Team” and a guaranteedspot in a showcase:
- Title yourreply email “Experienced Team Submission”
- Includeeither/or:
o Brief one scene sample in the body of your email(if we like the sample we might ask for more)
o Links to a couple of your best video sample
- PLEASE, ifyou’re applying for the Experienced Team you must be able to commit 8-12 hoursa month to sketch work.
- DON’T applyif you cannot commit to meeting at least twice a month.
$7 to audition and $5 towatch. This show is NOT a bringerbut audience reactions will impact our decisions so feel free to invite yourfriends or coworkers you can guilt in to coming down.
